Deployments that behave the same way every time

Most infrastructure problems in growing teams are not exotic. They are undocumented servers, manual releases, missing monitoring and configuration that grew without a plan. This is scheduled, practical engineering support to make deployment and operations predictable, and to leave behind documentation you can actually use.

Starting at $150·Remote delivery, worldwide·Written scope before work begins
Who this is for
  • Teams with unstable or manual deployments
  • Products running on a VPS or AWS account nobody fully documented
  • Startups that need senior infrastructure help part-time
  • Teams with no monitoring, alerting or backup verification in place
Outcomes
  • Releases that are repeatable instead of remembered
  • Alerts that fire before your customers tell you
  • Infrastructure a new engineer can understand on day one
Coverage

What the work covers

Final coverage is confirmed during scoping. Everything below is in the standard toolkit for this service.

Servers & infrastructure

  • Linux and Ubuntu server administration
  • AWS, VPS and basic network configuration support
  • TLS, reverse proxy and web server configuration
  • Backup configuration and restore testing

Delivery

  • Docker and Docker Compose deployments
  • CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitHub-based workflows
  • Terraform changes within an agreed infrastructure scope
  • Release process documentation and rollback paths

Operations

  • Logging, monitoring and alerting setup
  • Production troubleshooting and incident support during scheduled hours
  • Baseline server hardening and access review
  • Runbooks for the things you would otherwise have to remember
Deliverables

What you actually receive

Every engagement is documented. If it is not written down, it did not happen.

  • An agreed plan before work starts, with time estimates where the task can be scoped
  • Changes implemented and verified in your environment
  • Written documentation of what changed and why
  • Handover notes so your team can operate it without us
Pricing

Cloud & DevOps

Practical engineering support that makes deployment, infrastructure and day-to-day operations more predictable. Prices are starting points, scope is confirmed in writing before anything begins.

Monthly DevOps SupportOngoing scheduled help, with the included hours agreed in the proposalFrom $350 / month
Every price is a starting point for a defined piece of work. The final figure depends on how many environments, services and integrations are involved, and it is fixed in writing before anything starts. Hosting fees, cloud usage and third-party licenses are billed separately by their providers. Support is scheduled and does not include a 24/7 operations centre or guaranteed emergency response.
Scope & limitations
  • Hosting fees, cloud usage and third-party licenses are billed separately by their providers.
  • Support is scheduled. This is not a 24/7 operations centre and does not include guaranteed emergency response times.
  • Every price is a starting point for a defined piece of work. The exact figure depends on how many environments, services and integrations are involved, and it is fixed in writing before anything starts.
  • On the monthly plan the number of included hours is agreed in the proposal, and work beyond it is quoted before it is started.
Questions

Cloud & DevOps: asked and answered

Can you work with our existing infrastructure?

Yes, most engagements start with an environment that already exists. The first step is a short review to document what is actually running, then a prioritised list of what to fix first.

Do you take over our whole infrastructure?

No. You keep ownership of your accounts and your infrastructure. We work within an agreed scope and leave documentation behind, so nothing depends on us being available.

What if we need more than the hours in our plan?

Additional work is quoted at the hourly rate before it starts. There are no surprise invoices for work you did not approve.

Why is every price shown as a starting figure?

Because the same task is not the same size everywhere. Hardening one VPS is not hardening six, and a pipeline for a single service is not a pipeline for eight. The starting price is the honest floor for that piece of work, and the exact number is fixed in your written quotation once the shape of the environment is clear.

Ready to scope cloud & devops?

Send the details: what the platform is, which roles exist, which environment we can use and when you need it done. You get a written scope and a fixed quotation.
